This forum provides a platform for patients to share their experiences of unsatisfactory and debilitating outcomes following refractive surgery with Optimax.

Damaged patients are invited to share their experiences openly, without censorship, detailing the very real risks of unregulated surgery that do not appear in promotional materials.

The site is intended to help prospective patients better understand the risks and complications associated with refractive surgery, and to appreciate the real-life impact that adverse outcomes can have on patients’ lives.

Back to glasses was created by
I had Lasek with Optimax in early 2015, by 2021 I was back wearing glasses full time. Luckily I have not had any eye damage.

I had lasik at Croydon Optimax in 2011 and was back to glasses in just 2 years. I was also lucky that I didn’t have serious problems but I did develop dry eyes that I didn’t have before surgery. Wouldn’t advise anyone to take the risk or waste their money.
